Acceptance

By creating an account or using VoiceHaven, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must have the legal capacity and authority required where you live to create and control the account.

Parent Or Guardian Responsibility

VoiceHaven accounts are parent or guardian accounts, not child accounts. You are responsible for account activity and for making sure you have lawful authority to create and manage any child profile information you provide.

You must supervise use of VoiceHaven and keep the account, device, and credentials under appropriate adult control.

Current Service

The current service supports account creation and email verification, one parent-managed child profile, consent-first recording of the adult user's own voice, an approved built-in story, settings, support links, and in-app account deletion.

Provider-backed voice cloning and generated narration are disabled. AI stories, user-uploaded stories, payments, subscriptions, premium features, and offline mode are not offered in the current service.

Accounts And Security

You must provide accurate account information, complete required email verification, protect your password and verification codes, and promptly report suspected unauthorised access through Support.

You may not share, sell, transfer, or make your account available to a child or an unauthorised third party.

Child Profiles

Only provide the minimum child information needed for the family story experience. Use a nickname where practical and do not enter unnecessary identifying, contact, medical, financial, or other sensitive information.

You are responsible for reviewing, correcting, and deleting child profile information connected to your account.

Adult Voice Recording And Consent

You may record only your own adult voice. You must be the actual speaker, review the consent information, and make the recording yourself. Do not record or provide a child's voice or another person's voice.

The current service can save your voice recording and related consent information as part of private voice setup. It does not currently send the recording to a voice-generation provider or create provider-generated narration.

You must not use VoiceHaven to impersonate, deceive, harass, defraud, exploit, threaten, or misrepresent another person.

Stories And Content

VoiceHaven provides access to an approved built-in story for personal, private family use. You may not copy, sell, publish, redistribute, extract, or commercially exploit the story or other VoiceHaven content except where applicable law allows it.

User-uploaded stories are not supported in the current service. Do not attempt to bypass the app to upload or inject unauthorised content.

Prohibited Use

You must not:

• create an account for use by a child without parent or guardian control;
• record, upload, process, or imitate a child, family member, public figure, or any third party;
• make a hidden or non-consensual recording;
• use VoiceHaven for fraud, impersonation, abuse, harassment, exploitation, or unlawful activity;
• attempt to access another user's account, child profile, recording, or private information;
• bypass security, usage limits, disabled features, access rules, or server controls;
• reverse engineer, scrape, disrupt, overload, or introduce malicious code into the service; or
• use VoiceHaven for emergency, medical, therapeutic, safeguarding, legal, or other safety-critical decisions.

Privacy And Deletion

The Privacy Policy explains how VoiceHaven handles information. You can delete an individual voice you created; this removes its recording or sample, voice avatar record, linked voice metadata, and associated user-owned generated assets where applicable.

You can delete your account through Settings. Account deletion removes remaining voices and recordings, child profiles, user-owned content, user-generated audio where applicable, and account data covered by the deletion flow. Deletion is permanent and should be performed only when you are ready to lose account access.

Limited records may be retained where reasonably necessary for security, legal obligations, support, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or backup integrity. Deletion does not remove unrelated records, and VoiceHaven does not promise permanent deletion from third-party provider systems unless confirmed. If you cannot use the in-app control, contact Support.

Availability And Changes

VoiceHaven may maintain, correct, secure, limit, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the service. Availability can be affected by internet access, app-store services, infrastructure providers, maintenance, security events, and circumstances outside VoiceHaven's control.

We may update these Terms when the service or legal requirements change. The updated date will be shown at the top of this page. If a change materially affects your rights, additional notice will be provided where required.

Intellectual Property

VoiceHaven and its licensors retain their rights in the app, branding, interface, software, and built-in content. These Terms give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the current service in accordance with these Terms.

You retain any rights you have in information and your own adult voice recording that you provide. You grant VoiceHaven the limited permission needed to host, secure, process, and delete that information to operate the service in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers And Liability

VoiceHaven is provided for private family story use and is not an emergency service, medical product, therapy service, crisis service, safeguarding service, or safety-critical communication tool.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, VoiceHaven is provided without a guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.

Termination

You may stop using VoiceHaven and delete your account at any time. VoiceHaven may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to address a breach of these Terms, protect users or the service, investigate misuse, or comply with law.
