VoiceHaven is designed for parent or guardian control. Children do not create VoiceHaven beta accounts.
What VoiceHaven Does
VoiceHaven helps a parent or guardian create a private, consent-based family voice experience for approved story narration.
The current beta is limited to parent or guardian accounts, minimal child profiles, consented adult voice avatars, approved built-in stories, and private generated narration when provider processing is enabled. AI stories, uploaded stories, offline downloads, checkout, subscriptions, family plans, paid catalogues, and payment flows are inactive unless a later release says otherwise.
Account Data
We may collect account data such as name, email address, authentication status, country or phone fields if supplied, verification status, onboarding status, account status, subscription-tier labels, timestamps, and support metadata.
Firebase Authentication may process account credentials and sign-in information so users can create, verify, access, and secure their accounts.
Child Profile Data
A parent or guardian may create a child profile with only the information needed for story setup, such as name or nickname, age or age range, preferred language, interests, and sensitivity or guardrail settings.
VoiceHaven beta testers should use fake or minimal child profile data during testing. Children do not have independent beta accounts and should not provide consent themselves.
Voice Recordings And Voice Avatars
VoiceHaven may collect and process an adult speaker voice recording, recording metadata, voice avatar name, relationship label, language or accent notes, lifecycle status, consent text version, consent confirmations, timestamps, and account identifiers.
The beta voice flow is for the actual adult speaker recording their own voice or a disposable adult test voice. Child voices, hidden recordings, public figure voices, and third-party voices are not allowed.
Voice data can be sensitive. VoiceHaven uses it only for the private narration features made available in the app and related safety, support, provider, audit, and deletion workflows.
Stories, Generated Audio, And Playback
VoiceHaven may process approved built-in story text and metadata, selected child profile and voice avatar IDs, narration request metadata, playback status, and private generated narration audio.
Generated audio is intended to remain private to the account. VoiceHaven is designed to use private storage and short-lived secure playback access rather than permanent public generated-audio URLs.
Provider Processing
VoiceHaven uses backend-only provider processing. Mobile and admin clients must not call voice, AI, payment, email, or Firebase Admin providers directly.
Firebase and Google services may process authentication, database, storage, Cloud Functions, and operational data for account access, private storage, and backend processing.
ElevenLabs may process adult voice samples, voice data, approved story or narration text, generated speech output, and related operational metadata when voice cloning or narration is enabled. ElevenLabs processing may be disabled during testing and may be subject to ElevenLabs retention, deletion, use-policy, and account-setting limitations.
OpenAI story generation is inactive for the current beta unless a later reviewed server-side feature enables it. Payment providers and subscription processors are inactive for the current beta. An email provider may process support or account emails if configured.
Admin, Audit, Usage, And Support Logs
We may store operational metadata such as admin status and permissions, audit events, provider operation category, success or failure status, safe entity IDs, timestamps, duration, character or audio-second counts where safe, estimated cost, diagnostics, and support notes.
Default admin and support views are intended to avoid raw provider payloads, provider secrets, provider voice IDs, signed URLs, full private story text, child private details, and voice sample content.
How We Use Data
- Create, verify, and secure parent or guardian accounts.
- Set up minimal child profiles and private family narration.
- Record, validate, process, and manage adult voice avatars with consent.
- Generate private narration for approved built-in stories when provider processing is enabled.
- Provide playback, support, deletion, abuse prevention, audit, security, debugging, and product safety controls.
- Prepare App Store, TestFlight, legal, privacy, and operational readiness for the beta.
Data Sharing
VoiceHaven may share data with Firebase/Google, ElevenLabs when enabled, an email provider if configured, and legal, safety, support, or infrastructure providers where needed to operate, secure, support, or comply with law.
VoiceHaven does not intend to sell personal data or use beta data for third-party advertising or tracking.
Retention And Deletion
We retain account, child profile, voice avatar, consent, generated audio, support, audit, and provider metadata only as long as needed for the beta service, safety, support, abuse prevention, legal compliance, debugging, and deletion workflows.
Voice samples and voice avatars are retained while the relevant avatar or account is active unless deleted earlier. Generated narration audio is intended to be temporary for private playback and may be removed automatically, generally within a limited testing period such as 30 days, or sooner if deleted or revoked.
You can request deletion of account data, child profile data, voice recordings, voice avatars, generated audio, and related provider deletion or deactivation by emailing oladeinboolutayo@yahoo.com. Deletion may not be instant in backups, logs, provider systems, or records that must be kept for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or dispute reasons.
Testing Rules And Feedback
During TestFlight or beta testing, testers should use fake child profile data and only their own or disposable adult voice. Do not use a child's voice, a family member's voice, a celebrity or public figure voice, hidden recordings, or any third-party voice.

Security
VoiceHaven uses Firebase Auth, private database and storage rules, Cloud Functions, backend-only provider secrets, server-only provider identifiers, short-lived secure playback access where configured, and metadata-first admin views. No security measure is a guarantee, but these controls are intended to reduce unnecessary access to private family and voice data.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy as VoiceHaven changes, as providers change, or as legal and App Store review requirements are clarified. The Last updated date will show when this page changed.
